Fire and Ice - Garnish Style

We were out and about again, raising money for children's services. This time it was Montessori of Maui's Fire and Ice Gala, Montessori of Maui's biggest fundraiser of the year. Garnish Events donated a boutique cocktail service package to the nights live auction offering, as well as donated a customized bar service for the evening itself, complete with specially created signature cocktails that perfectly complimented the fire and ice theme.

Some of the evenings favorite signature cocktails were:

Melting Snow - handspun cotton candy melts into icy cold Ocean Vodka with fresh lemon juice and lychee puree

Lavendar Margarita with Smoked Sea Salt - Kula lavender, fresh lime juice, orange liqueor and tequila with a guava wood smoked sea salt rim.

Food service for the evening was provided by Maui Executive Catering, who lended some of their handsome waiters to bring around trays of our unique libations. These were a real hit.

The above, stunning floral arrangement was donated by Bella Grace Flowers, another of the evening's supporters, and we were lucky enough to have it grace our bar.

Garnish Events Helps Raise Big $ for Imua Family Services

Imua Family Services provides comprehensive early childhood development services to children and their families. On January 15, 2011, Imua held it's 2nd Annual Wine, Women and Shoes event at the Four Seasons Resort Maui and Garnish Events was there to support this wonderful event.

Garnish Events and personal chef John Galvan teamed up to donate a unique silent auction package including an expertly crafted special brunch and unique cocktail creations for 10.

This silent auction package sold twice, for $3500 each, raising a total of $7000 for Imua Family Services. We were so honored to be a part of the event and we give a big Mahalo to everyone who attended and contributed to this great event.

Until Later,

Garnish
